Born in San Francisco, Jimmy moved to Los Angeles to study music after high school. After graduating from the Musicians Institute, Jimmy played with various musicians, and had the opportunity to play concerts in Sweden and Italy.
Jimmy has been awarded Best Cinematography Documentary on a Feature Film for his work on "Skin Deep: Formulating A Legacy" at the 2021 Silicon Beach Film Festival.
He has worked on various television shows, and most recently has been filming for concerts, documentaries, corporate and directing / switching on multi-cam productions.
Having the good fortune to travel extensively, Jimmy's life has been enriched by being exposed to many cultures. He has traveled throughout Europe, but also been involved in humanitarian trips to such places as Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia and Serbia.
Jimmy's philosophy about his work is as follows: "I am professional, and passionate about my work, I always give 110%, and am driven to excellence."
In his free time, Jimmy enjoys music, photography, sports, Barrel Tasting at the wineries in Sonoma, California where his family lives, or watching Formula One Racing.
Besides his American Citizenship, Jimmy dually holds Italian Citizenship, as his grandparents came from Porticello, a small fishing village in Sicily.
